Our Logo
Chartered on November 12, 2022, UAP Bulacan Singkaban is the 192nd chapter of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) and the sixth UAP chapter in the province of Bulacan. Though among the youngest in the A2a chapters, initially composed of 35 charter members, UAP Bulacan Singkaban has been an active player and advocate of the architectural profession through its various programs and activities, hence recognized as an Outstanding New Chapter during the 2024 UAP National Awards.
The UAP Bulacan Singkaban logo took inspiration from the UAP National logo, the mother organization. In consonance with the ribbon form text of the UAP logo, the chapter’s initial letter S was also of ribbon like form embellished with the Singkaban pattern motif to take its new meaning as an emblem of the chapter.
The blue and red flame of the UAP logo was also adopted with a new and broader interpretation. The flame now becomes a blue quill and a red torch. The blue quill at the end of the cursive “ingkaban” letters represents how the members write their journey in the profession starting from their architectural education to their continuous passion for improvement and development represented by the red torch.
Moving forward but not forgetting its roots, the chapter’s year of establishment was written in Roman Numerals to give respect to the past while embarking into the future. Incidentally, the triple double roman numerals that stands for the year of establishment (MMXXII) signifies the chapter’s dual efforts on all of its endeavors.
As a whole, the UAP Bulacan Singkaban logo is a representation of a chapter that carries with its heart the original mission of the UAP, moving as a dynamic organization that is ready for the challenges of a future-proof profession.
